    October 7, 2019 - PnP - very tight.

Decanted and tasted over 24 hours and it really started to open up. It's great to drink now if you give it some time to decant, but if you can wait a few years I think you'll be richly rewarded. This is a big wine that is nicely balanced and I can't wait to see how it evolves.

I'll probably wait at least two years before opening another one, but it made the decision as to whether or not to buy some of the 2014 I just got an email offer for an easy one.

October 4, 2019 - Double decanted and followed over 3+ hours. Nose is still very tight but some dark fruit manages to poke through. Even 90 minutes after decanting the wine still has a very dusty finish.

Knowing this comes from young vines, there is obviously been some great barrel treatment to give the wine this pedigree; Just a question regarding the time it takes for the wine to soften, and to what extent flavor remains from the young fruit when that happens

September 26, 2019 - Very approachable at this young age- nice balance of fruit and chewyness. It will evolve more, but nothing wrong with opening one now and getting your initial set point- you won’t regret it! Big and smooth at the same time.

September 4, 2019 - Twelve hour decant. Very deep dark magenta color. Blueberry, macadamia, dark chocolate covered black cherry and cinnamon-laced firewood on the nose. Thick, satiny, tongue drying palate, with smoky prune notes. Voluptuous tannins on the long finish. Still one of the best $100 wines around.

August 3, 2019 - Pnp but decanted too and allowed to evolve in the glass. Exciting and feral after a short decant. Still a little grippy and tannic but achieving balance. Pretty close to prime drinking now. The aromas filled the glass and were intoxicating in their own right. Make no mistake: a lovely, varietally correct Cab that is also a bit randy. Good shit.
