September 24, 2023 - Hade nog förväntat mig lite mer umpa-umpa.

March 26, 2023 - Absolutely wonderful, especially after in a decanter for 3 hours. Excellent typicity for the region, shunning the typical garrigue of a Rhone blend for a more spritely high toned white flower spine. Otherwise, would compare well with a Chateuneuf (again, take the richer fruit and garrigue out to get to this wine's profile). Incredible value. 2-3 points of upside potential over the next 5 or so years.

March 13, 2022 - 14,5% Alk., 90% Mourvedre, 10% Grenache. Schwarzviolette Farbe. (94+)

February 13, 2022 - Mourvedre Story - Bot river (Beaumont Winery): Lots of ripe fruits on the nose with dark Damson plum, blackberry, game and roasted meat and meat stock. Savoury edged this opens more towards marmite notes. Good depth on this medium-bodied wine there is a dry leather texture that runs to a firm-ascending tannin that becomes quite astringent as the wine opens further. Quite a fresh style helped by lively acidity, the core is tapenade, dried earth, hot clay pots with a touch of fennel fronds, meat stock quality and a twist of white pepper. A touch more flesh than the Tempier but hasn’t the compunction nor length.

November 2, 2021 - This was excellent! Darkish, prune and plum fruit, smooth, soft tannins, bit of bright cherries on the nose. Went perfect with BLTs!
