October 9, 2021 - Eucalyptus on the nose, baking spice, plenty of bright red plum with light blackcurrant. There's a bit of menthol. Finish is medium. There's a slight pippy and vegetal note (that green strawberry type flavour) which makes the finish feel thin. Still, drinkable and pretty delicious.

May 10, 2020 - I kinda like it, my partner doesn't, I have to say it's not great. A medium burst of vaguely black fruit followed very rapidly by long persistent somewhat dusty tannins and dry acidity, and that's it. A little like sherbet in its spiky attack in the tongue, but my partner reckons it's just bland. It doesn't really have much depth, it's just one note.

PS: on second day, the fruit - blackcurrant, blackberry - is more pronounced and drapes over things a bit longer, and tannins are a bit smoother. Oak is a hint of perfume after fruit and before tannins overwhelm. It's pleasant enough but still not more than enjoyable.

November 14, 2019 - Bright and juicy boysenberry, eucalyptus, ground coffee - young and excellent. Hold.

August 30, 2019 - Bitter outside and not the depth I want on the inside.
