July 12, 2021 - 91(+?)pts. This Cabernet Sauvignon is nowhere near being ready for consumption at this point. On can say it is a bit rustic at the moment - please give it lots and lots of air if you intend to drink it now. But it has the stuffing for 5+ years of bottle aging.

November 9, 2019 - From one of the winery's oldest vineyards - these vines were unaffected by phylloxera.

After a 45-min decant, aromas of roasted meats, earthy prunes, licorice & herbal-spicy notes like bay leaf, boldos, & garrigue.

The palate is full-ish, rich, mouth-filling, with lively acid & a long finish. Deep black fruit flavors were infused with roasted onions, cedar & tobacco - leaving an almost bitter aftertaste. The tannin is now very fine grained.

A unique Chilean Cab that I found enjoyable...others did not enjoy it.

September 1, 2019 - Very very Chilean. Almost too Chilean. What black fruit was there felt muted, with heavy smoke / tobacco notes. Some mint there, but there was a strange bitterness that lingered throughout. More time in the decanter didn't particularly diminish it, real shame. Had friends over so we worked through this over the course of a few hours, but I wonder if 1 or 2 nights could have helped.

June 20, 2019 - Smells like Very Chilean. Nose of rinsed sour kimchi, blackcurrant, smoke. Something is very bitter, which destroys overall balance. Otherwise it is quite a nice wine. Butter, only once on finish, never reappears. Almost full bodied. On days 2 and 3 it gets sweeter with more balance, but the bitterness persists. Starts from 86/100, ends in 89/100.

May 18, 2019 - Exquisite legs, nose full and striking, rich black fruit with a long lingering finish that rolls over the palate like a mountain stream navigating the rocks of Gibraltar
