November 18, 2021 - Nice wine, very good QPR. Typical good quality Chilean Cab. Has years of life ahead but super enjoyable now with some air.

July 12, 2021 - 91(+?)pts. This Cabernet Sauvignon is nowhere near being ready for consumption at this point. On can say it is a bit rustic at the moment - please give it lots and lots of air if you intend to drink it now. But it has the stuffing for 5+ years of bottle aging.

November 9, 2019 - From one of the winery's oldest vineyards - these vines were unaffected by phylloxera.

After a 45-min decant, aromas of roasted meats, earthy prunes, licorice & herbal-spicy notes like bay leaf, boldos, & garrigue.

The palate is full-ish, rich, mouth-filling, with lively acid & a long finish. Deep black fruit flavors were infused with roasted onions, cedar & tobacco - leaving an almost bitter aftertaste. The tannin is now very fine grained.

A unique Chilean Cab that I found enjoyable...others did not enjoy it.

September 1, 2019 - Very very Chilean. Almost too Chilean. What black fruit was there felt muted, with heavy smoke / tobacco notes. Some mint there, but there was a strange bitterness that lingered throughout. More time in the decanter didn't particularly diminish it, real shame. Had friends over so we worked through this over the course of a few hours, but I wonder if 1 or 2 nights could have helped.

June 20, 2019 - Smells like Very Chilean. Nose of rinsed sour kimchi, blackcurrant, smoke. Something is very bitter, which destroys overall balance. Otherwise it is quite a nice wine. Butter, only once on finish, never reappears. Almost full bodied. On days 2 and 3 it gets sweeter with more balance, but the bitterness persists. Starts from 86/100, ends in 89/100.

May 18, 2019 - Exquisite legs, nose full and striking, rich black fruit with a long lingering finish that rolls over the palate like a mountain stream navigating the rocks of Gibraltar

April 19, 2019 - I gave this a 3 hour decant...light ruby color, light to medium body, light cherry fruit flavors with anise and mint. Totally disappointed with this so far, will check back and edit notes tomorrow. WS 93 points

Update: still not impressed, unbalanced. A big departure from previous vintages. Returned my other bottle to vendor.

January 28, 2019 - Agree with other tasters, really good juice at this pricepoint. Really impressive mix of stoney, tight black fruits - more plum than anything else, but with a nice undercurrent of sour black cherry - solid and very attractively tight tannins with a nice streak of acidity. It's definitely drinkable now but it's gonna be a real beauty in 5 or more.

November 18, 2018 - Upside potential. Decanted 2 hours. This is still a baby and could use more time. Mostly red fruit flavors. Good balance. Great cab for the money.
