October 13, 2022 - Fine but overpriced. There are much better values at this range. The wine is smooth and pleasant, just nothing that really sticks out.

July 24, 2022 - Very nice and as expected. Has plenty of time, or not if you're in the mood to open it.

April 9, 2022 - Gave it a 1 hour decant. Nice fruity, smooth notes of blackberry and plum up front followed by vanilla and mild leather and then moves into a nice, long finish. This is an excellent wine...

January 12, 2022 - Way too young. But well made, pure but very bright Cab dark fruit nose, long finish, everything in this wine is well integrated, but it needs a few years to develop tertiary flavors.

August 20, 2021 - A pleasant surprise, the 2016 is a serious, if slightly austere, Cabernet reminiscent of a very good Saint-Julien. Give it some time to open and enjoy with Prime Rib.

April 27, 2021 - This does need most of an evening decanting to open up. By hour 2 this was getting multi-dimensional. There is a good pronounced nose of sweet plum and black cherry with a whiff of mint/rosemary (medicinal & floral). Medium plus body with ripe, evolving dark red fruit and herbs and mocha. Lingering finish. Where this wine disappoints is at the till, poor QPR. When you can get Ghost Block for a third off or two Louis Martini Napa Cabs with change enough left over for a block of Rougie Foie Gras and a good baguette. I’ll pass on this one in the future.
