December 30, 2020 - A nice surprise. Inky dark color, nice aroma of red and dark fruit as well as some overt oak/coconut on the nose. Concentrated fruit on the palate with red and blue fruit and vanilla. On day one there was a bit too much of everything so we opted to drink some 2014 Margaux (Brane-Cantenac). On day 2, this really cane into it’s own. The oak is clearly there, but it seems to be well balanced. This has concentration, but I would nit call it overly extracted. I’ll probably wait a couple years on the next few bottles. I hope this bodes well for other 2014 Beringer and BV’s high end bottles.

December 9, 2020 - Dark violet and cherry hue with a strong bouquet of fruit. A fruit-forward concentrated wine with blackberry, plum, cherry with a Full body with soft tannins followed by an excellent long finish. Matured and ready to drink now though based on personal preference can also be cellared for a few years.

November 30, 2020 - Loved it. Dark garnet color. A bit earthy, with softening tannins. Good fruit, but not overly so. Dark cherry with a bit of spice. Decanted for a couple hours and it was excellent

November 28, 2020 - Not at all an experience like other reviewers. Full bodied with a decent entry and mid-palate flavor but then finishes with an overly aggressive oaky note that really distracts and disappoints, leaving this a bit of a disjointed mess as of now. Drank over 2 hours with no noticeable change, maybe a couple of years will soften the harsh wood? Try again in 2022 or maybe even 2023.
