February 25, 2023 - Slow oxed for 3 hours before serving. Regal cult wine taste. It is rich and ripe but also elegant and not overwhelming. Very good. 93-94
December 24, 2022 - Amazing wine but needs time after decanting. 2+ hours later and it was drinking beautifully.

February 25, 2022 - Diamond mountain fruit. Depp red color, must decant to really get to the essence of the wine. Medium tannins, extremely well balanced, with back notes of light spices and roses
November 24, 2021 - PnP which was a mistake, this needed air. Nose was delightful, red fruited, touch of perfume, twizzlers, and slight herbal component. Nose was a 94. Palate was muted red fruit, coy and hiding and did not improve with air. Palate was an 88. Complete disconnect between the nose and the palate and unlike our prior bottle back in June. Try again no earlier than 2024.
June 14, 2021 - 2021 Napa - June 9-12: We closed with a library Aurora and what a finish. This was like getting a 23andme report on the 2017 Aurora. Red fruit, definitely Diamond Mountain, tannins have started to recede but provide a lovely backbone for a long finish. No need to wait here, even with PnP, though I think this still has room to get even better. 95 pts for now with 96-98 future potential.
