  July 20, 2017 - I have to admit: this is my first try of this Dönnhoff Cuvee, never tried at the estate when we visited them......, because I am a Riesling-addict, but now: accidentally our winegroup saved 18 cases of this from a typical Hamburg Monsun three weeks ago, Dönnhoff sold us these bottles and so we shared this cases among our winegroup, unscrewed today I expected a somehow too young and maybe unbalanced wine, very far from it, silky, floral, white fruit, creamy generous mouthfeel, I think from the Doppelstück (a german cask speciality: Halbstück= 600 liters, Stückfaß= 1200 liters, Doppelstück= 2400 liters) another very positive gastronomic, food friendly wine, extremly tasty, very good pairing with pork filet, pasta salad and Tzatziki, moderate weight and aftertaste, drink from now on and over the next 3- 5 years, ***
