December 3, 2022 - Seventeenth Annual White Truffle Dinner (Hughes House - Chicago IL): In 83/94/95 vertical. Apple, quince, and apricot provide enchanting aromas, that are nearly matched on the palate, with very good balance and seamless textures and weight. very good now.

April 5, 2022 - Decanted for 30 minutes. Slight petrol nose, but overall this bottle was stunning. For 27 years, this bottle was still very much alive due to its great acidity. Happy to have 2 other bottles.

November 5, 2021 - Best bottle (Restaurant Lion's, Stuttgart): *** brief notes for my memory, no detailed tasting notes. Wines tasted blind if not noted otherwise ***
Perfect bottle. Popped and poured. Clear, medium golden color. Wonderful complex and intense nose, fresh, salty, herbaceous, dense and deep. No signs of petrol that I often feel in aged Trimbach wines.
First sip after opening was a bit unbalanced, but it simply needed time and air. Wonderful mineral core, lots of ripe, yellow stone fruit, racy, ripe and perfectly integrated acidity. Very complex, very good balance, elegance and tension. Finish was a bit short on the first sight, but it was just very fine and delicate and stayed very long on the palate. Drink now, it will not get any better, but will for sure stay on this level for at least 5+ years. 94-951 person found this helpful Comment
