November 2, 2019 - Medium body, rust colored bouquet. A little smoky, peppery, some cherry fruit, a little acidic, astringent on the finish. Not bad for a $10 wine.

April 2, 2018 - Nice tobacco note on the back end. Not as fruity as other CdRs I've had, but that's not necessarily a ding. Good structure. Paired well with a cheap chunk of red meat.
