March 27, 2019 - On the decline. Drink up!!!
July 22, 2016 - Dry aged beef swinging on a hook in a butcher shop. Stewed blackberry. Don't wait another minute, this bottle is reaching for its coat at the door.
January 1, 2016 - Unreal. Drank at Dominic's on NYE after cellaring for many years. Was absolutely worth the wait. A softness lent by the Merlot and great flavor from the Cab. This wine is full of dark fruit and the nose is mesmerizing. Silky and plush with low tannins. Drinking great now. Has another 2-3 years left. One of my top 5 wines of all time and I'm a Pinot guy!
April 27, 2015 - Our first taste since 2011. No flaws. No sediment. Dark ruby/garnet color. Nose of dark flowers and fruits. Low tannin and acid. Low alcohol. Medium finish. Thinking it is at our just beyond peak. Plan to accelerate drinking window on the two we have left.
February 12, 2015 - - Garnet color. It's balanced with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish.
January 19, 2014 - Well balanced, judicious oak and good fruit, mature notes of cedar and spice mesh nicely with plum, mocha and cherry pit. Nice acidity keeps things fresh, ripe medium grain tannins.
January 7, 2014 - Maturing well in the bottle. This wine has a good energy; will age well but enjoyable now.
November 28, 2013 - - Brick color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Polished texture with a medium finish.
August 25, 2013 - Second bottle seemed a little better than the first. TN's basically same. Lots of Merlot, fleshy good texture, and has good balance. Not a ton of fruit here though. More of a food wine, as it's not offering alot of nuance on it's own. Sale-rack special case filler bottle...
August 25, 2013 - Deep crimson Red. Not a big nose, but lots of earthen nose and cherry. This is Merlot heavy, fleshy and ripe. Actually opened over an hour into a nice Red. Glad I got this on close-out, as $50+ full price would have been a disappointment. At half price I felt like a good deal.
