December 11, 2011 - Very smooth and mellow. The v dark fruit (stained the cork bottom heavily) was a bit candied but has some smoke and spices influence. A nice aged and elegant zin that, despite its level of sweetness, appeals to my palette. Definitely not past its prime but not sure if it has further to gain.

November 23, 2011 - Dark fruit, spice...Napa Zinfandel unique...leather, clove, absolutely delicious. Could age a little longer, but definitely no need.

May 28, 2011 - went perfect with bbq chicken. the zin characteristics balanced nicely with the cabernet. peaked. don't believe there's anything to gain with further aging, but not past it's prime as the drinking window suggests.
