December 8, 2008 - Light golden yellow in color. Aromas of honeysuckle and white fruits. A crisp lift of ripe pear, melon, and citrus shows through generous caramel and oak in the mouth. Ripe finish, with a little heat.

March 26, 2007 - Big (not huge) Chard. Quite a bit of oak but not overwheming. Dry. More food friendly than most big CA chards. High alcohol (14.3%) very noticable on the finish despite the fact that the bottle had been open for a while. (D 7, F 5.5; SoPo)
