March 23, 2024 - While this is undoubtedly a well-made wine, and I enjoyed it, I found myself concluding that the winemaker relied more upon extraction than nuance in its creation. Sure, it’s a fruit forward, bold style California Cabernet, and a worthy accompaniment to a steak dinner, however, I was expecting more at this price point.

August 31, 2023 - Fruit forward with pronounced acidity and outstanding purity and freshness. Great structure, with lots of spice and dusty tannins. Touch of herbals in the long finish.

July 27, 2023 - PNP. Very deep dark electric magenta color. Blackberry, dark milk chocolate, date, and patchouli. Smooth, dry palate, with vibrant, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full, slightly grippy tannins on the longish finish.
This was served at cellar temperature (i.e., a bit too cold) and really needed a one or two hour decant. Nevertheless, it’s a very nice drinker. The acid has a very long linger.1 person found this helpful Comment -

February 22, 2023 - 30 minute decant. Nose of oak, pecan, and Nilla wafers. Rich palate with dense black cherry, espresso, and dark chocolate flavors along with notes of rosemary, brown sugar, and sweet tea. Vanilla-led finish with dark fruits and sweet oak comes on strong but ends short. This wine's all about the palate but is a nice pairing with grilled steak.
