  March 20, 2020 - Ah! This takes me back to the summer of 2015, sitting in a restaurant in Galicia, Spain. I was at the old port city of Ferrol, which has the claim to fame of being the port from which the Spanish Armada set sail to attack England in 1588. On a hot summer day, albarino is VERY refreshing! And in this part of Spain it's traditionally served to you in a jug, from which you pour some wine into a small, flat bowl and then sit back and sip on it while conversing with friends over some delicious raxo. It brings back some good memories!
  
  Albarino is a little like Beaujolais in the sense that it's simple and enjoyable. Light and fruity nose. A little on the acidic side but it has a healthy dose of honey and pear notes. A simple and enjoyable wine. Enjoy it cold!

  October 17, 2017 - Lovely wine. A mid-bodied Albariño. Slightly floral on the nose. Good body and acidity. We paired this with leftover roast lamb, acorn squash, and sauteed tatsoi greens. A favorite fall varietal.
