    May 17, 2020 - Colour: pale garnet
Nose: cherry, plum, pomegranate. Dragonfruit? Touch of tar. Some floral character too, maybe rose petal?? Perfumed. Subtle earthiness, sweet spice, maybe some cigar box and old oak.
Nose: cranberry, pomegranate, cherry, strawberry. Dragonfruit?? Rose petals?? Tar, subtle earthiness, cigar box, sweet spice, old oak. Touch of bitterness, but not unpleasant. Fresh but smooth berry-like acidity; linear, firm, sandpapery, Nebbiolo tannins running right through it, not overly aggressive or overly prominent, but particularly notable on the finish. Really drinkable. Lacks the complexity of a Barolo, but lovely, savoury, and drinkable. Excellent value for money. Medium bodied, 13,5% alcohol. Seal: DIAM cork.

Balanced wine despite the short open and lack of decant. This one was awesome and worth finding. It is balanced, light bodied and a powerhouse of fruit. Led with cherry, other red fruits including raspberry and a small amount of overripened strawberry. More delicate than punchy.

June 26, 2018 - Floor and fruits of the forrest aromas. Plums and leather but still a bit taut, needs a couple more years, and with a tart cherry finish.

A good example of an entry level Nebbiolo. This has a floral nose with cherry and pomegranate fruit. Potentially just a slight hint of VA, but nobody else seemed to notice so I could be wrong. Very pretty, you get the roses, but I did not get the famous tar note which some Nebbiolo showcase. Tannins are tight, but not as harsh as a young Barolo. I was thinking Barbaresco from a lighter year. For the price this is a great everyday Nebbiolo...
