April 19, 2019 - Boxwood winery (at the tasting room): 70 % cab franc, 22 % merlot, 8 % petit Verdot.
Dark fruits (blackberries, ripe dark plums, black cherries), lots of toasted oak (too much in fact), sweet licorice, black pepper, a bitter finish from the oak.
