For the “real” price on allocation it is definitely worth the money but nowhere near justifies the price tag on the secondary market whic is a factor 3-4.
Red fruited, elements of typical Gevrey - iodine, meat, spices and quite structured tannins. With air it softens up and is quite elegant and complex in its expression.
April 3, 2022 - très bon et typique de l'appellation sans se distinguer vraiment, j'aime davantage un 1er cru avec un élevage plus travaillé d'un domaine plus modeste de l'appellation à des prix inférieurs

Ripe red fruit, perfumy floral note, hints of spice, very concentrated. Smooth in the mouth, with good weight. A Very enjoyable wine.
September 27, 2020 - Showing plenty. Highly perfumed red and black fruits are trimmed with floral spice. It has ample flesh and mid-palate sap and every sip unlocks a new earthy nuance. There’s real depth for its level and it finishes with excellent cut and is expansive. Still so young but a joy to drink.

August 7, 2020 - Horizontale de Gevrey-Chambertin 2016: Nez discret mais subtil. Un vin fin, racé et classique, c’est élégant, juteux et complexe, bref un vin complet, de bonne longueur. C’est mon préféré, le plus typé Gevrey à mon sens. 91-92 pts
