Community Tasting Notes 2

March 9, 2011 - Popped and poured through a filter/pourer. Clear, deep garnet with a tinge of purple, medium plus intensity. Nose of deep black fruit, leather, chocolate, dried cherry, hint of oak, and raisin. Palate same notes. Medium plus body and alcohol, solid acidity, chewy tannins, long finish. An excellent example of a classic textbook Amarone. Fantastic value, all the parts pull together very nicely. Has all the bones for a long life ahead.

August 6, 2010 - Dinner With Denyce (Fabio's NYC): Quick taste. Grapey nose with hints of dark chocolate. Similar notes on palate.
