January 30, 2024 - Final.btl. Nope. Orange juice is back. Bummer.
December 12, 2023 - So rich and fragrant. Could age so much longer even with 8 years already gone.
August 30, 2023 - A solid Bourgogne blanc on the riper side. It delivers what is expected.
August 26, 2022 - Pop and pour. No orange juice concentrate note! Needed 1.5 hrs to unfurl, but it became a rather generic oak dominant chard. Not bad.
December 5, 2021 - As pointed out back in August of 2019, this is a very serious bottle of Bourgogne Blanc; made in a Meursault style. I love the fruit concentration, the judicious use of oak and the lingering acidity. Better with food than without. Drinking well at this juncture. Drink through 2025.
November 26, 2020 - Not super complex, but a good representation of Bourgogne Blanc.
October 30, 2020 - Nicely balanced. Ample but not fat fruit. Very well made. Delicious and drinking nicely. Good potential to improve. 89-90+
July 6, 2020 - Drinking well above it's level. Touch of oak. Lemon, mineral. good acid on finish. lovely
March 19, 2020 - This is a note from today 3/28. I left this bottle for my in-laws who opened it on the 19th. It has been open, unrefrigerated, and corked since that date (held probably around 60-65F). Amazingly, no signs of oxidation! On the nose: lemon peel, a touch of tangerine and vanilla. On the palate, good acidity, more lemon and tangerine, and a clean finish. Huh.
January 15, 2020 - Really lovely stuff. Drinks like a budding Meursault. Great flavors of pears and golden delicious apples. Soft and creamy texture. I look forward to drinking this again in a year or two.
