January 21, 2022 - Oak not nearly as pronounced as a few years ago, but all the same I prefer the precision and tension in Paul Cluver's lower-priced bottlings.

January 6, 2022 - Nice but not great while admittedly not paired perfectly with rich chicken and parsley casserole. Quite citrus driven in leaner style than expected, will try next one with a fishier dish.

February 1, 2021 - Time has been good to this wine--100% new oak (I believe) is more integrated now. Fruit etc are layered and remain on the delicate side--blind, grape would be easy enough to guess but origins would be hard to place as it fits none of the typical models for either old or new world chardonnays.

June 19, 2019 - Exhilarating. Scintillating nose of lemon, melon, cinnamon and a hint of allspice. No oak monster at all.
Delightful in a rare, invigorating crisp clean way but with a finish dragging on longer than a Trump presidency.
If a date, this was a chance encounter with a smart college coed who turns your Sunday into Christmas in June.
Still vigorous now but drink soon, there's not much stuffing.
