Community Tasting Notes 2

February 13, 2022 - Opened for a few hours to breath - at first there was some strange sweetness on the back palate but it blew off as the wine filled out. No formal notes but it ticked all the St. Joe boxes - plenty of fruit and well structured. Just delicious with a lamb and bean stew - and I love the fact that this wine clocks in at just 12.5%…

September 30, 2018 - Nice mix of red and black fruit on the nose. A touch lighter on the palate -- not too complex either, but really nice acidity and freshness. Slight bit of brine, less so the smoke and meat qualities. Fairly approachable now and quite enjoyable.
