  Notes: although there's an inherent bitterness towards the end of the palate but the nose is quite creamy and full bodied. I would say that this wine delivers plenty of typicality of the Domaine and the nose is quite appealing. Nevertheless I am often quite conservative about Ramonet's 1er crus as they can demonstrate inconsistencies from time to time and between different 1er crus, I would say Verger is probably my least favorite one and often underperforms comparing to the other 1er Crus. I guess 2-3 more years can give this a better palate and feel.

  November 20, 2023 - Light yellow. Nose is dominated by the barrel with cream and vanilla. Feels like satin- remarkable. Again, the palate shows barrel and apple to pear fruit. This could keep going for years!

It is full and silky in the mouth, with good complexity and ripeness, but also a lovely elegance about the wine. It is rich without heaviness and minerally notes kick in at the end.
