May 8, 2022 - Why can’t all white wine be like this?

👃👅Aroma explosion. Very pronounced and complex. Tree (apple, pear) very ripe, floral, stone fruit (abricot), Tropical (mango), citrus (lemon, orange), yeast (bread, pastry) and it got tertiary notes as well, in particular (ginger, orange marmalade). No signs of oak? And still this complexity 🤩

📐Full body, medium acid, borderline dry/off-dry with a long finish. What more can you wish for?

🥇Outstanding quality → I have to give this 97 this is amazing.

April 12, 2022 - Nothing wrong with the bottle, this is now the third tasted and it simply isn't very good. A little like Roches-Neuves in style, this is super-dry, with not much going on taste-wise apart from some weak lemon and honey flavours and high acidity. Compared to a Bertin-Delatte, it was bland and boring. Perfectly drinkable but poor value.

November 8, 2021 - Delicious, substantial wine. It's great now, but I can see why some advise letting a few bottles rest for some number of years. I unfortunately only had this one bottle. Will look for more!

It is on the acidic side, citrus acids that have not mellowed with the couple of years I've aged it. It's still a bright, lively, young-tasting wine. It has a little spritz, with a fountain of fruit flavors, for me a lot of pineapple and melon. Golden color, but not as thick as I expected when looking at it. It has a lighter body.

This would be an excellent wine with fish, maybe particularly salmon. We had it with a mushroom risotto, which worked fine and did a nice job of offsetting the creaminess with some acid. But part of me wishes we'd saved it for salmon.

October 23, 2021 - Popped yesterday, notes from today, and wow has this benefitted from 24 hrs open. On the nose: soft lanolin, loads of pear, underripe peach, lovely mineral notes. On the palate: sweet apple, fantastic minerality, sea salt, lovely density and a long finish.

October 16, 2021 - Delicious from the start, with no hard edges and nice intensity. Held up and even improved over three nights. I found it harmonious, fresh, and easy to drink. Great stuff.
