October 28, 2023 - What an awesome wine. 2 years removed from my last bottle, and the 2 years did this one great. Opened and let sit for about 40 mins. Dark cherry, blueberry on the nose. Carried over to the palate with some black pepper spiciness, along with a bit of black plum. Really smooth and round in the mouth. Nice long finish. I’d have to say this the best Syrah I’ve had this year, and one of the best I’ve ever had. Carlisle / Mike Officer consistently makes unbelievable wines. Drinking great now, and for probably another 5 years or so.

October 8, 2023 - Extracted style, but still in balance, a delight to drink. Nuanced flavor and a structured finish that keep it all together.

October 1, 2023 - Decanted for one hour. Aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, cured meat and spice. Ripe black raspberry, black cherry, bramble and spice on the palate. Very long finish. Full bodied. Served with apple wood smoked, marinated pork tenderloin.

November 18, 2022 - Great bottle that really came together after being open for 2 hours. Makes me question how long these can go. Exceeded expectations based on the other bottles.

September 20, 2022 - Lovely notes but needed a couple hours in the decanter to really strut its stuff.
