April 12, 2021 - Tasted on day 3 from a magnum. Still a very young wine. Bottle showing no signs of oxidation at all. Sweet red fruits. Almost getting some hints of Champoux fruit in here. Maybe they declassified a few barrels and added it to this tank before bottling? Who knows but this is singing and it is a screaming good deal. Excellent balance and good persistence.

March 3, 2019 - Washington State Trade Event (North Loop, Minneapolis, MN): Wow my brother and I agree on something with the 91 point score. Red currants, spice, mild oak and floral notes. Medium finish and balanced overall.

January 9, 2019 - Very nice for Januik's basic Cabernet. Nice red fruits. Great tension between acid and fruits. Very young. Will benefit from a few years of ageing. Some graphite notes on the palate. Nice long finish.

November 12, 2018 - One of the better multi-vineyard Januik cabs in recent years. Drank over multiple nights. Young, but showing well. Great texture, depth, and balance.
