    June 22, 2021 - Definitely Cornas! Gritty tannin, stony acidity, blackberry, meats, bay leaf, a bit of farmyard (not brett). Took a while to open up in the decanter so give it time. I good mix of fruit and savoury flavours. Really enjoyed this.

    March 28, 2020 - Blackberries, stone, iron/blood white pepper and bayleaf. Perfectly balanced and nice structure w firm tannins and perky acidity. Really nice but needs more time! Perfect match to venison and gratin dauphinoise!

    December 27, 2019 - Deep ruby;
    Pronounced aromas intensity of blueberries, meat, moist earth, blood, black pepper, oak-vanilla;
    Developing;
    Dry, high acidity, high tannins, med abv, full body, pronounced flavors intensity consistent with the nose, complexed, concentrated, meaty and nicely balanced. Long finish;
    Can drink now - suitable for 15-20 years of aging;
    Excellent!

    September 16, 2019 - (current score 87, but potential is probably 90+)
    Rich red. Rich nose. Really lovely nose, actually. As others have pointed out, this one is currently way too tight. Even after lots of air. Obvious potential, and tons of it. Already balanced, but leaves your toungue feeling like sandpaper. Even fatty foods will not be of enough support to serve it justice. But be patient, store properly, and have a great wine once it reaches its peak.

    May 11, 2019 - Svart med lilla kant. Parfyme, kjøtt svartbær på nese. Noe primærfrukt igjen ved åpning. Svarte bær, blod, tobakk, krydder og rå frukt i munn. Kraftig struktur med en fantastisk lengde. Litt toner fra stilk i avslutningen. På vei inn i dvale. Trenger mye tid. 91-92 (88-89 nå).
