The fruit is always muted and there's a slight bitterness that you might associate with an Italian wine. It almost seems corked but so many bottles? Maybe this case was mistreated somewhere along the way.

December 24, 2018 - Two wonderful bottles with Christmas Eve dinner of red pasta, grilled sausage, roasted cauliflower, and salad. The bottles disappeared.

November 11, 2018 - Oh so enjoyable. Still has tons of estery fruit, great balance and a full finish. Robust enough to match the ragu.
