December 10, 2023 - Very similar to, but slightly better than the 2001. Dried rose petals and a little bit of earth, with a still tannic backbone. It was cleaner and more vibrant than any of the ten bottles of 2001 I’ve had over the last 6 years.

August 23, 2019 - Full-bodied and rich, with a healthy amount of grip. Some pleasant touches of brett and VA, and chocolatey notes gave this a nice sweet/savory tension. Good stuff, and glad it had none of the TCA I found in the 2001 vintage (twice).
