  February 23, 2010 - Fairly dark red color. Great pepper taste and not too fruity. Had with venison and it was a perfect match.

  June 22, 2009 - Less barnyard nose than the last bottle, but it's still there. It mostly blows away after 5 minutes or so. Confirmed that there is not a lot left. Drink this wine now. I'm very disappointed in this wine. It's expensive and I have 3 more bottles.

  May 29, 2009 - Immediately after popping and pouring, powerful barnyard nose but a little less strong on the front palate. Definitely Pinot. The brett mostly blows away after 15 minutes or so. Now there is peppermint or cotton candy on the nose but the fruit remains muted and I can't pick out the flavors -- probably because at this point I'm into the gruyere and pita chips. Good balance with mild acidity. There is still plenty of structure and a long finish, but I would drink this wine now. I still have 5 more bottles, so I'll try another one in a week or so to verify this judgement.
