January 1, 2017 - Nice ruby color. Medium legs. Dark Fruit on the nose. Medium to light mouth feel. Cherries, plums, and some wood up front, with and medium finish. No tannins or oak. Decanted for over an hour and the wine became more silky with time. Went great with a tenderloin.

November 8, 2014 - Paired beautifully with short ribs. Ready to drink. Perhaps just a little beyond peak.

March 9, 2014 - Decanted 1 hour. Beautiful ripe cherry and pipe tobacco nose. Great fruit and balanced acidity. Tannins have resolved, and this is in prime drinking timeframe.

January 4, 2014 - A gift from our insurance agent with ties to the winery. Really nice aged wine. Classic Napa cab character, and a wonderful balance of fruit, acid, and some remaining tannins. Does not clobber you over the head, but is a very classy wine. The only thing that kept my score from being higher was that the tannins on the finish were somewhat drying, and the finish just didn't end as well as it could have. Very enjoyable, however. My only bottle, but would be happy if I had more.

December 23, 2010 - 93+. Solid aged wine. A touch of dried herbs, black fruits. Wonderful mouth feel and perfectly vinous even with the sordid retail provenance. Just killer juice. Displays the achievable heights of Napa.

September 20, 2009 - A very nice Cabernet. The nose was nicely balanced with dark berry and spice. The taste was medium bodied, well layered and drank very well early. Medium to long finish. Great value for the price.

July 22, 2009 - Aromatically - ripe black fruits and spicy plum, along with a touch of carmely oak. Super ripe cherry and plum flavors dance with a medium density and sweet tannin that is very pleasant.
