June 10, 2023 - This was oddly better than my last note, despite a pop and pour. Rich nose, heavy sediment, but clearly not flat, with dark well integrated fruit and a nice finish.

January 9, 2023 - PnP. could have benefitted from a decant. Beautiful aromas of black fruit, cassis, tobacco, dark chocolate, tea, herbs, raspberry. Big and rich, has calmed down with age. Loaded with flavor showing blackberry,c assis, tobacco, chocolate, tea, herbs. good acidity. Medium bodied with a long finish. Mild to moderate tannin in the finish.

June 8, 2022 - Evergreen nose. Very smooth and integrated. Dark but not heavy. Balanced and easy to drink. Mixed dark berries, cypress, dark chocolate with medium tannins. Did not decant. Slightly better on day 2.

April 14, 2022 - Decanted 2 hours and it was still closed with little character. Excellent nose, deep, rich color and lots of sediment It opened over the next couple of hours, but lacked consistency, with a carbonated vanilla cola at one point. Overall it failed to meet my expectations from past experience and has me worried about the bottles I have left. It is not worth waiting.
