April 26, 2020 - Last bottle, just as chuggable.
Deep transparent pink. On the nose, crushed raspberries, anise and spice. Medium acidity, gracefully light tannins. A bit short but tasty stuff

March 9, 2019 - Visibly cloudy with extra “stuff” in the bottle (as advertised). No matter, this is really good. The dark color contrasts the pure red fruit profile that emerges from the glass. Cherry/strawberry fruit bordering on red jolly rancher, but not candied sweet. Spice and “Pinot” earth. Texturally, this is thicker than it’s weightless SVD Whitcraft cousins, but the trade off is a bigger punch of fruit that’s drinking great now. Compared to most other CA Pinot, this is still on the lighter side and in my wheelhouse.

December 2, 2018 - Very light in color, a bit deceiving since this wine packs a nice punch, with a nose of strawberry, red fruits and a hint of clove. On the palate its muted juicy fruit candied cherry, light in texture, but the finish is nice with a subtle lingering bit of earth and smoke that mixes nicely with the cherry. A feminine wine for sure but a really great diversion from big fruit forward Cali pinots.

March 11, 2018 - Opened the first bottle just to get a sense of what's to come in the future. Right now it tastes like fresh strawberry/cherry juice. Nose is a combination of cinnamon and spice and light red berries. The wine feels soft and silky and the tongue. Very much a sunny, summer afternoon sipper. Probably wouldn't hold up to dark meat, but this would go perfect with some goat cheese. Also could be paired with fish and chicken. Love it.

December 14, 2017 - Viticole: bright red fruits give way to those signature Whitcraft secondaries - sweet brushy herbs and savory spice notes. The mid-palate is pure silk and energy. Finish is long and detailed - pure umami.
