May 25, 2019 - Pnp at friend's house. It gave a nose of light perfume mixed with dark fruits. Coming together with a good balance and structure. Light but delicious finish. Drink now but can cellar for few more years.

November 18, 2018 - Balanced, no hard edges but not flabby, big black fruit and berry flavors balanced out by excellent structure and some secondary notes of smoke, toast, vanilla. The color is gorgeous.

May 17, 2018 - In the eyes, its a deep dark black red color, with a lean towards purple.

In the glass, minerals leap up, like from a dusty gravel road in the summertime when you're driving behind a big rig in front of you.

In the mouth, it has deep, dark complex fruit and a delicious savory umami that any carnivore or vegan would love.

The structure, it's huge, and yet it doesn't feel heavy.

It ends with a combo of tannins that are ripe and delicious and make you lick your lips a bit, and adds texture, and a lingering fruit that seems to never end.

If you have a bottle that's been stored well since release, it's a super star.

January 31, 2016 - A beautifully aged Napa Bordeaux blend that shows what this vineyard can do with time. Dark burgundy in color, medium in body, nose of sweet cherry, licorice, and gravel. Gloriously integrated tastes of blackberry, plum, dried strawberry, chocolate, and granite. 14.7% alcohol. Blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cab Franc, 10% Petit Verdot, 8% Merlot, and 3% Malbec. Rivals the 2005 as the best LMV Salon I have ever tasted, and this is one of my favorite wines coming out of Napa. Wonderful.

November 15, 2014 - Found this bottle hidden deep in the cellar. Thoroughly enjoyable with Steak Diane. Cork was in great condition for a 10 year old bottle and the wine was high on the neck. Soft tannins and great fruit.
