May 21, 2022 - On the fruity side, yellow fruits, decent weight, but energy is sliding. Tasty, a touch bitter, nice overall, needs drinking.

September 11, 2021 - Ripe yellow stone fruits came up front, and again good acidity and fuller body. Really tasty, paired with soft cheeses and mushroom risotto. Used Riedel Veritas Champagne glass, that usually emphasises the fruit core.

July 1, 2021 - Drank over three nights, very good per prior notes and other recent notes. Interesting after several days deepened quite a bit, firm acid core was complemented with a richer fuller fruit. Had not thought of 'aging' this bottling but will consider with next purchase, as Lefteroff suggests...well done and another Tiberio gem.

June 6, 2020 - Mountain morning clean nose, in the mouth freshness, pink grapefruit with its zesty, grippy appeal. Weighty, a touch oily, and plenty of energy, this will get better with 2-3 y more.

February 7, 2020 - Tiberio, high quality across the lineup, and this is no different. No detailed notes, concur with others--more on the mineral, white flowers, bit of citrus, with barest hints of stone fruit. Very drinkable, very good. Good with or without food. Served before dinner and with pan fried haddock, wine/lemon parsley reduction.

November 8, 2019 - 13.5%. Pale corn silk white. Initial nose of rubber eraser and burnt matchsticks. As that blows off, honeydew melon, meyer lemon, faint mint. With more air time, some notes of brioche. Rounded in the mouth, long lemony slightly saline finish. Gambero Rosso 2018 Tre Bicchieri. This wine has been a consistent 3B winner since 2010 (with the exception of the 2014 vintage which got only 2B).

May 17, 2019 - White flowers on the nose. Fuller on the palate than the Trebbiano but still lazer quick. Apparently allpropogated off of 5 vines. With idea being that it protects the traditional clones. Planted in 2000 and 2001. And apparently the natural yield of Pecorino is very low. The idea being its a very salty textural wine. Botanical flavors are the traditional flavors. But apparently nursery vines make very different flavors - more tropical. Sharp and precise minerality.

July 9, 2018 - Impressive intensity and clarity.
Good minerality and greenness that are not obtrusive.
Feels a little heavy, but that is just how pecorino is.

April 8, 2018 - Pale lemon color with a bit of frizzante when first poured. Peach and apricot fruit aromas on the nose as well as some lemon and tangerine citrus notes. It also has a floral side that gives it a fresh, springtime-air lift. Not complex but quite expressive and generous on the nose. On the palate, it's quite acidic, with the tangerine and lemon fruit flavors taking the lead. The stone fruit and flowers are still there but it's really an assertive blast of citrus. Light to medium in weight, and the finish is clean and consistent with the rest of the flavor profile.

Nothing spectacular but well made and tasty, and a good example of how fresh, bracing whites can be made in warm weather climates with the appropriate grape, growing methods, and winemaking.
