December 2, 2022 - Pleasing bouquet of cranberry/raspberry which flows through to a medium pleasing palate, brilliant transparent ruby colour with a medium finish but te strength is in the charm of an elegant package, loved it.

August 4, 2021 - Charming bouquet of cranberry, blueberry compote. My nose kept creeping back into the glass. Palate delivered if the finish was a bit short. Lovely ruby color.

February 7, 2020 - Same as last note, just a killer bottle of Pinot from the SB region.

January 8, 2020 - One of the best California pinots I’ve ever had. Dead ringer for burgundy minus the earth component. Lots of complexity and stacked with fruit, the classic iron fist in velvet glove. Delicious.

September 30, 2019 - This bright and wispy Pinot offers a lot of charm but not as much complexity as I had hoped. Light red in color and light in body, the wine offers aromas of sour cherry, fresh rhubarb, and fresh flowers. Tastes of dried strawberry, cranberry relish, rock candy, and baking spices, with a lifted though brief finish. 13.5% alcohol. The line between graceful and simple can be hard to trace, but this leans towards the latter. Better on second day, with a rounder and more layered profile. 91-92 for now. Drink in 2020 or later.
