August 31, 2014 - textbook napa valley cab. THis one is well aged, drink up.

June 7, 2011 - I had this with apricot lamb chops on 6/7/11. It had a ripe, rich bouquet of sweet cassis, black cherry, smoke, mocha, licorice and spice aromas. The palate was soft, round, lean and well balanced with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, mocha, licorice and spice. 90+
April 27, 2011 - Very nice wine - not as much depth and structure as the 2000 Elevage.
December 17, 2010 - It was nice. Not as complex as I would have hoped for a ten year old wine. Smooth and fairly silky. Was not wowed.
September 11, 2009 - Decanted for about 15 minutes before dinner. Major sediment - wish I'd strained it! Holy cow - both of us could smell that it was going to be wonderful. Supple, light tannins, but nice complexity. It wasn't a "Parker - hit you in the face" wine, but instead a very balanced, layered treat. Pure velvet.
February 22, 2009 - Classic Napa cab. Black cherry and plum flavors complex and well rounded.
December 24, 2008 - Well balanced, round, full body, rich, currant and mineral flavor with soft tannins.
