March 21, 2021 - 92 DF Good all around starting with an inviting nose of cherry, pepper, raspberry, vanilla and chocolate. Savory taste in a full bodied, medium acidity and spicy tannins frame. This is good juice priced well. NI:4, FI:22, FC:8, B:4, L:4
December 21, 2020 - This is loaded with notes of cracked black pepper, smoke, ripe blackberry, and garrigue on the nose and palate. Oak is perfectly integrated, and the Mourvedre flexes with a tarry note that lingers on the long finish. A fabulous wine.
November 1, 2020 - Dark ruby.
Black cherries, dark fruit nose.
Dark cherries, chocolate, plums, figs.
Good wine which should continue to drink well and maybe improve.
April 10, 2020 - Cork looked fine, but from the nose I knew it was tainted. It tasted much better than I thought it would. Just slightly off. Might not have noticed if I hadn’t had it before. Unfortunately this was my last bottle.
August 19, 2019 - good fruit, but the structure and depth are the key to this wine. It can last for another decade but is drinking well now. Some leather, earth, tobacco and bacon notes lend additional complexity.
May 15, 2019 - Not a ton of complexity, but what's there is really enjoyable. Blueberry, sweet cherry that turns into a cake flavor on the finish. Tannins don't get in the way - would suggest drinking on its own, as I don't think I'd want to mix other flavors in with this. Will buy a couple more bottles if I can find them.
April 7, 2019 - Consistent with previous note. While I don’t see it improving with cellaring, it’s great as is with a little air.
February 2, 2019 - Good value. Fruit forward. Needs another year or 2 to integrate, but smooth.
January 17, 2019 - Beautiful garnet color, blueberries on nose, well balanced wine with fruit, oak, graphite. Better than expected.
December 16, 2018 - Full body, very bright red and blue fruits with a spicy profile, not subtle at all this wine bursts forth from the first drop. Lacking a little bit in terms of balance in my view.
