January 29, 2020 - In a pretty modern style; the bouquet and profile featuring red berries, flower garden, sweet herbs and tobacco. Though somewhat heavy, the wine retains an elegant appeal. Showing well now, and will likely hold for several years.

February 1, 2019 - No notes taken, but from memory: The wine has an intense aroma that can be smelled from a foot or more away. On the nose, there is black cherry, flower petals and a hint of pleasant stemmyness, which I assume is from some whole cluster integration. The wine is rich, long and savory, with a distinctly smooth texture that makes it just so inviting. Really a lovely example of Santa Maria Valley pinot noir.
