March 26, 2016 - Clear, deep garnet with slight rim browning. Leather, tar, cassis. Very low acids, medium.to low.tannins. black cherry. Short balanced finish.

October 24, 2011 - PnP, benefitted from an hours woth of air. Nice bordeau blend. There was some wet tobacco, cigar box, and dark fruit. Also some stem - not quite bell pepper. Tannins were soft. Finish was 45 seconds. A nice wine that paired well with a rare leaner meat (filet). Would prob last 5 years - at its peak now.

February 27, 2011 - Put a black fruit in a cigar box for seven years and this is the nose it would produce. Rich in tannins and a bite of blackberries and cedar on the tongue. I think it best enjoyed with a sharp English cheddar to balance the taste.

January 9, 2011 - Decanted 1hr, very rich, concentrated and extracted, I got nothing but intense dark fruit and hints of chocolate and vanilla through out the nose and palate. Not all that complex, but quite enjoyable.

December 20, 2009 - Inky garnet. Intense nose of vanilla, raspberry, and dried red cherry. Baking spices and dark fruit line the dry palate with deep blackberry, tobacco, and mint. Showing a bit of heat, this wine has a elegant nose but not the palate and structure to back it up. Still a solid Bordeaux blend.
