August 7, 2019 - Dark ruby colour. Pepper dominates, stewed plum, cherry. Slightly sweet, dry finish. Medium body, enjoy with food.

June 17, 2018 - Hunter Whistlestop - the road less travelled #1 (Hunter Valley): Plums, slight butter, earthy and spicy, a little meaty and dirty. Fruit forward, juicy, sweet plummy fruit, soft, velvety tannins. Perfectly pleasant but not for me.
