October 5, 2017 - Really like this wine from the 'boot' of Italy. The Verdeca grape is planted in an interesting pattern called sextonce - with each vine being the middle of a hexagon; lots of sun and good underground water source so the wines don't stress producing a nicely balanced with the chalk and mineral aspects; nice body with apple flavors, long finish. Crisp and delicious.

April 29, 2017 - Medium gold with green tint - clear. Moderate aromas of tropical fruit/ quince with ripe white peach and green apple - very appealing. Underlying spice with nice minerality. Medium palate of quince/citrus - tart. Medium(+) acidity - long on the palate. Mild complexity but very pleasant.

July 4, 2016 - Dorato chiaro.

March 3, 2016 - Lots of richness on the nose - almost honeyed, ripe, floral, spicy. A bit flabby on the palate, not much acidity, but aromatic and broad. Good length. 86-88

February 24, 2016 - Sipped a 75 ml glass at the New Street Wine Shop in London. Vibrant yellow color with green hues. Intense aromas of tropical fruit and citrus. Palate is fruity with good acidity and hints of spice, which is nice :-).

October 23, 2015 - Really nice Southern Italian white made from the fairly rare verdeca grape (which is mainly used in making vermouth). There's a bit of fragrant floral and grapefruit notes on the nose. On the tongue there's a balance of lemon pith, minerality/wet stone, a touch of white pepper, mouth watering acidity and a medium finish.
