October 21, 2017 - 10/21/2017 SPC Class WK7: Italy // Southern: pale ruby with hint of orange on the rim. Slightly fizzy... moderate aroma intensity, very hot on the nose. Dry medium bodied fresh acidity and medium/astringent tannin. Little smoky, hint of vanilla. Suspect this bottle is faulty or dumb.

July 27, 2017 - Librandi (Rome): Ruby red, a bit faded.
Intense and fine nose: candy violets and black cherries. Silica hints.
Dry, with a good acidity and minerality. Full mouth, thanks to a high alcohol and a smooth tannin. Fruit on the background.
