September 24, 2023 - A little funk early on that blows off after a bit.
July 21, 2023 - This wine is fantastic! Again like JMB James Cuvee color is very dark as for Beaujolais wine. The smell is very strong and unique. Cranberry, strawberry, red currant, minerals, orange. Taste - weird, because black, not red fruits are dominant with the exception of pomegranate. And nice surprise - orange or pink grapefruit( whatever you like 😉).No complain about this 'anomaly'. Wine is juicy, addictive with perfect acidity and tannins.
Long finish with spice and all components I mentioned above!

May 26, 2023 - A strong effort here. Quite dark red. Great legs. Very deep, dark black cherry fruit in the nose, and earth. Strong profile in the mouth, with good acid. Big, big ripe fruit, stuffed with fruit, and lively in the mouth. Rich. 5-12-17-8: 92/100.
March 24, 2023 - Better than when tried in 2019. Still cherry and cranberry, but with some cooler blue fruit too. Mineral and metallic tinged with fesh acidity. Maintains rusticity while being more approachable than last time.
May 22, 2022 - The 2016 Roillette is about strawberries with a real sweetness, a little steely tannin on the finish. Pure fruit and pleasure. We opened the Burgaud 2016 Cote du Py at the same time. That wine showed darker fruit, a florality and a sterner structure... watch this develop for another decade.
March 27, 2022 - Mature Morgon with a little tannic bite at the end. Fresh red fruit on the nose and in the mouth, medium-bodied, dryish finish. Wouldn't mind staying in the cellar for a bit longer, but enjoyable right now.
May 22, 2021 - Cherries in the nose and mouth. Very fruity. Tannins still noticeable. Still young. Hold.
March 19, 2021 - Delicious dried strawberry nose. Moderate colour and quite soft acidity though enough to benefit from a light chill. To my palate perfectly ready.
February 11, 2021 - PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Root” day): Pale purplish ruby.
Ultra pronounced ripe red bramble fruit jam. Cinnamon sweet spices.
More minerality than acidity.
Enjoyable now. 92-93 points.
