Community Tasting Notes 4

November 22, 2022 - Opened at 8 am and immediately poured 187 ml into a 1/4 bottle, drank at 9 pm befor mixing two parts together. Not showing what I expected from a WE 96 wine. I just hope that was due to long distance transportation the wine just experienced, not its own quality.

February 4, 2021 - consistent with the bottle of thirteen months ago if slightly more coiled just now. Without a doubt, the last taste was the best. The elegance struggles somewhat in the face of the coiled power within this wonderful expression of site and grape. HOLD. Will revisit in 4-5 years at the earliest. highly recommended

January 8, 2021 - Opened the night prior for 2 hours of air in wide-bottom decanter, re-corked, and served single-blind the following night. This seemed to work very well, and frankly I was surprised a just how much freshness this offered. Whether it's in its window or not comes down to palate preferences, and as much as I enjoyed each and every drop of this, I think I'd prefer to see it in 3-4 years, when more complexity will likely have developed. Med/med+ body, elegant, etc., with such a lovely sense of place and grape. Drink with air or hold. highly recommended
