June 12, 2023 - Drank at a party; next to a 2015 Clos de Terres Blanches CdP; much darker fruit and a denser wine; obviously this has some other grapes other than grenache which give it a darker and more tannic structure; good, should develop well

October 29, 2021 - This bottle drank fabulously. Surprisingly dark fruit, fresh flowers and chalky minerals. A stunner.

August 28, 2021 - Needed air/time to shed some baby fat, but then turned nicely.

May 9, 2021 - Somewhat muted out of the bottle, this took two hours of air to open up and reveal luxurious mohagany and leather flavors, among others. This bottle is not drinking quite as well as the first, I'm not loving the dried fig note, but still wonderful to sniff.

January 1, 2021 - Nose red jammy fruit, vanilla, oak, spice. Palate cherry, spice, tobacco. Powerful tannins and high acid over long, lingering finish. Interesting and good.

December 11, 2020 - This is definitely ready to drink right now; let's start with that. It is very smooth. I wish it had a little less vanilla, but it does have some nice dusty spicy undertones. I'm not as high on this as prior tasters but it is very drinkable and has some good Grenache flavors. Pretty pricey for what it delivers in my view, however.

December 10, 2020 - Like a dusty cowboy, this smells of saddle leather, driftwood, tobacco and horse sweat. Like the mayor of Carmel, this tastes plush, smooth and expensive. And just like Clint Eastwood, it should age gracefully.

March 25, 2020 - One hour decant. Fantastic floral nose, with vanilla and spice box. Red cherries in abundance. Medium tannins and a long, tart finish with a bit of cedar at the very end. Really nice.
