November 10, 2018 - If this wine were a current vintage, I'd probably give it an 85 or so, however being 20 years old, I'm absolutely stunned at the wonderful condition it is is. So 90 it is. Rich raisin Port-like aroma. Huge big rich, softly bitter Bing cherry fruit on the palate. A bit tart as the tannins are gone but amazed at the lingering fruit this wine still has. Only a touch of browning on the edges in color. Impressed this wine has held so well. Grilling some lamb chops now to pair with it. Delicious!

February 14, 2016 - Garnet Red, brown edges with moderate sediment.
    Sweet cherries, and floral perfume.
Moderate plus tannins (6.5/10), dry finish. Sweet cherries on the palate as well. Grips the tongue and goes through the palate.
Very interesting wine, probably going downhill, but definitely not terrible.

February 13, 2016 - Blind home wine tasting with MOT Scoring sheet: Very distinctive brown tinge with moss and pencil shavings on the nose. Also a hint of marmite.

    Dry and smooth though thinning.

July 9, 2015 - Maybe good years ago. Didn't drink.
