Community Tasting Notes 2

  • alifeofkaizen Likes this wine:

October 1, 2017 - Not as good as the previous vintage (but still good!) - but have only opened one bottle so far. Will open another in coming months and try - may have needed settling time.

  • DanielJH Likes this wine: 93 points

September 27, 2017 - Lovely nose of dried herbs, fennel seed, raspberry and cedar. Much of the same on the palate: juicy raspberries, plums and some cherries; vanilla, dried mint and liquorice root. Superbly crafted wine. Medium bodied and juicy with a web of fine and sticky tannins and a lengthy finish. Will go a decade or more in the cellar, but very hard to resist now - with a few hours decanting.
