July 28, 2023 - Decanted around six hours, maybe its about to shut down? Beautiful fruit, floral elements, power without weight, already complex and beautiful. I d hold the remaining bottles for at least half a decade. 2014 in Barbaresco seems very promising

April 7, 2019 - Deep and sensual approach with delicious raspberry, great spice, mushrooms and leather aromas. Pretty full-bodied wine with a delicious fruit feel of cherries, raspberries, delicious salt tones and tobacco. Pretty tightness in the tannins that gives perfect bite. Great acidity. This is a brilliant wine! 95 points.

October 20, 2017 - 2017 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/16/2017-10/25/2017 (New York City, NY): This medium garnet wine serves up aromas and flavors of red fruits, pickling spice, dried herbs, lavender and loamy earth. Full-bodied, fresh and with nicely integrated alcohol, it weaves in a soft component of oak on the solid mid-palate. While long, the finish flexes some tannic grip. Cellaring is in order here. Drink 2024-2040.
